Social Security may not be enough

There is no dispute that the Social Security Administration is headed for difficult financial times.  Although economists have different predictions as to when this will happen, it is possible that in our lifetime we will see Social Security benefits reduced.  As the Baby Boomers retire, Social Security payouts will outpace the inflows and will stress the governments’ ability to keep pace.  To protect our financial future it is important that we understand this and establish a retirement plan that will provide adequate income regardless of what Social Security benefits we receive.
